About Me
Mia grew up in Virginia’s Hunt Country and is a graduate of Foxcroft School, where she later served as Trustee and co-chaired its Centennial celebration. With a fine arts degree from American University and studies in the U.S., England, Italy, and Switzerland, she began her career at Sotheby’s in London. A passionate advocate for architectural and cultural preservation, Mia has worked with the National Trust for Historic Preservation and several historic restoration projects. Her interest in genealogy has led to active roles in heritage societies, including the Colonial Dames, the DAR, and the Society of Mayflower Descendants. She is also the author of Dog Heraldry.
